Here is a pic of the ball dropping, along with the new addition of a laser show.  They did a very nice job of it.

We celebrated live watching the ball drop on TV and celebrated by blowing horns and going out on our front porch yelling "Happy New Year" with our noise makers. After some calls to family and the obligatory "Pizza Rolls" and Sparkling Grape and Sparkling Apple Juice, we are going to hop on VFK in a minute here to celebrate the Central Time countdown!

Thanks Astro!  OMG!!  That laser show was amazing!   The ball was beautiful!!  Well done, VFK!  Happy New Year everyone!

Question:  do we get favors?  That might be a silly question, since the ball is going to continue...  :shy:

Wow!!! :dance2: :dance3: :clapping: That was awesome!!! Loved the laser light show addition! The ball was beautiful, so much like the real thing! King and I got to see Purpleduck and a few other friends while we were on - that was the best part of all! :bighug: :hug: I took a picture once the ball lowered to add to Ducky's pic.

P.S. - Yes, Flame, party favor bags are available now. The pop-up upon receiving it says it can be opened when the ball is over. I guess that is midnight Pacific Time???

Thanks for the pics Ducky and Wendy!  I did notice Ducky hit Print when the ball was purple!  ;)

Sorry I missed the new laser show - but the DC bug got me in the ballroom. Then I dropped into bed  :yawn: :sleep: before it was Ball Drop time!

LOL you'd think that of me with good reason!  However, it was a chance thing, and I did not know until I got the pic uploaded that the ball was purple.  I was after the least amount of talk bubbles to see the laser show, and waiting for the Earth to turn to familiar enough outline we all would know it was the earth.  Dumb good luck!

LOL great luck, I would say!

Flame took many pictures.  It will take a little time for me to sort them out.

I also took a video of the whole laser show/ball dropping.  I'll see if I can  get that uploaded to Youtube this year :P  LOL (I got shtuff to do!)
