Tonight 3 more new rugs in Christmas Shop (Balta Street) for sale:

Rumor was I heard there will be 3 to 5 new rugs released a night...don't know how true the rumor is.  


Gingerbread Rug 1x1 with green dot in middle...50 credits  (This Green dot changes to Red to Blue to Yellow and back to Green with each rotation of it)

Gingerbread Rug 2x2 with green and yellow dot .... 125 credits

Call me a newbie...but I am uneducated in the use of rugs.  Are there special things you can do with them...besides cover existing floor spaces?

   I have not tried much with the carpets on VFK yet, but one cool thing about carpets is that you can place them on top of existing furniture and people can walk/stand there. For example, if I wanted to create a pirate ship using crates, I could add carpets and folks could walk on the "deck" of the ship. There are many creative uses for carpets this way.
   Another nice thing about carpets is if I want to build in a backstage room for more space, I can do that and not worry about the blue floor looking out of place. I am sure others have more to add.
   
   **From one of Rosie's posts, I hear they work really well as "hats" for purpleduck?? I think I'm gonna have to see that for myself!  If anything, I could place some high up in my rooms as an escape frm King's gas. Unless that whole hot air rises thing catches up with me...

Woke up and had trouble getting back to sleep so went to "play" -

The gingerbread Rug with the dots 2x2 - I could place on top of the Snow Banks from last year and walk on them easily.  So like Princess said, we can climb up high and walk at the top above King's gas.....except I thought gas rises 

The other thing I noticed is when I rotated the smaller gingerbread rug 1x1 with the green dot - it changed colors  from Green to Red to Blue to Yellow with each rotation.

Rosie was putting down some rugs while we were talking.  When she got to where I was standing, the rug stopped on my head. When I stepped aside, it fell to the floor.  So we can't "walk around" with them on our heads.  But it's cute for a party gag
