There was an alert in one of the popups from the last hunt that said there will be YET ANOTHER host hunt tonight.  

I HOPE this isn't anger for another Host Hunt with the same prize.  Cause if it is .. you won't like what I have to say.  

Quite frankly, I sent a message to VFK telling them that I HOPE they keep this prize until at least sometime after Thanksgiving.  

There are people like myself, that have yet to even win this new prize.  I would like the opportunity to at least try and get my hands on it.  I haven't been able to participate in the Events for it so far, and didn't play the entire hunt for it earlier either.  And apparently missed the 2nd one as well.  Like most people, the next few days will be busy with real life, so hopefully they will keep this prize around -- because of that as well.

Personally, I think it should be a ONCE PER DAY/PER IP winning for this type of Event.  But, we all know that won't happen.  I've already heard from other people that told me before, and now again, the amount of players that are now winning multiple times a day, and of course the amount of clones as well.  For this I have - no comment - ..  They have to live with their own conscience.

Not anger for another hunt with same prize

Anger because I've been glued to the computer for 2 fiasco host hunts today already (totaling somewhere between 4-6+ hours so far)...and have gotten nothing done in real that I had planned on doing today.  LOL

We also didn't have any until today, so I know how you feel.  I'd love to see VFK bomb us with this prize and deflate the value of them.  A little 'payback' on the 'hoarders'  lol  

Best of luck Astro and everyone else  Hope they keep this around a bit longer.  For pete's sake!  People have to get ready for Thanksgiving today/tonight!  What the **** are they thinking?

I would love nothing more than to see this.  And hopefully it happens.  Then I'll be able to get one.  rofl

Couple nights back during one of these I came close ....sort of....well, ok it was: I entered a room saying "I found HOST..." when my words disappeared right away. I saw the only other person in that room saying "thanks Dragon" and Dragon saying her goodbye and to enjoy.

Seems that even when I try to win, it is perhaps a once a year happening if that.

I really don't care if someone uses their main - or - a clone to do these hunts. But, what bothers me is the person who wins a host hunt, and then gets on another one of their 'clones/main/peeps' whatever and wins again in the same host hunt or another hunt the same day they already won.  I see alot of the same titles winning hunt after hunt (same day or same prize hunts) and it becomes disheartening for those who don't win even one of those items.  If I feel this way, imagine how the little kids feel.


Much prefer Host Teleporter Games instead.

I have sympathy for those that don't win, Fun.  Unfortunately, VFK made the 'clone problem'.  It's not going to go away, and they won't do anything to curb it now.  Sounds harsh, but after years now, it should be obvious.  VFK makes rules concerning the hunts...but doesn't enforce them.  Everyone knows that.  Hence:  the problem.  Well...one of the MANY problems.  LOL.   NOBODY hates to stand in a room...staring at the screen...for hours...more than Flame does.  Trust me on this.  I'll take a teleporter any day of the week over a hunt.  Then again, you get a large amount of people complaining about teleporters due to people loading the Q with 'clones'...and they don't get any numbers!  So...yeah.

The funny thing is that most people (except the 'hoarders') seem to loathe the hunt!  Everywhere you go, people are complaining about how long it is going, no popups for long periods, boring, etc.  Yet here we are years later with more of the same. 

I think the bigger issue is that the hunt is BROKEN.  It's been that way ever since it went to 'auto-award' and Harmony went...who knows where. 

VFK still hasn't fixed it.  Why?  EVERY HUNT, THEY HAVE PROBLEMS!!!  WITHOUT FAIL!

And instead of fixing the problems, they keep having the hunt in its 'flawed form'. 

If they fixed it, there would be quicker rounds.  More people win.  More rooms visited.  More items distributed.  Less angry people.  Not as boring.  Need I go on?

I also heard a suggestion that instead of having a player say the correct 'line', have VFK make a special pin on the host lanyard that has to be clicked on for someone to win.  I REALLY like that idea!  Sadly, we'll probably never see it.

Shameful that after years now, it's still broken...and VFK chooses it as their main 'host event'.  Just shameful.

My thoughts exactly Fun!  When they ran this last hunt, however many times it was for the day -- I heard there were players that won 3+ times the same day.  So yeah, very disheartening.  And you hit the nail on the head, if we feel this way, imagine how the little kids feel.  Like garbage probably.

The cloning is out of control.  Yes, VFK created this beast -- but just like other online games that don't allow it... there are many fixes to make it right.  Apparently, VFK doesn't feel the same way we do about it. 

There's many host events I can't stand.  The turkey wrangling is another, or any "race" event.  The game grid is still WRONG, so IMO these events can never be fair.
